Mark Corigliano founded Corigliano Investment Advisers in 2022. Previously, he worked at DUMAC, Inc., Duke University's investment management company, from 2014 to 2022, where he led the Private Investments Team managing over $14 billion and co-led the Public Securities Team. In 2009, he founded Belltower Advisors LLC, a $250 million long/short equity firm focusing on the energy, mining, and materials sectors. He began his investment career managing a $200 million natural resources portfolio at DUMAC and served as an engineer with Schlumberger in the Gulf of Mexico. Mark holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, an M.B.A. from UNC Chapel Hill, and is a CFA charter holder. He also served as an Adjunct Professor at UNC Chapel Hill, teaching Alternative Energy and lecturing on commodity investing.
Kevin Pollard joined Corigliano Investment Advisers in 2024 as Director of Research. He has over 20 years of experience analyzing and investing in energy companies. Previously, he was Managing Director and Director of Research at Pickering Energy Partners from 2021 to 2023. He was a Partner and Senior Analyst at Heikkinen Energy Advisors since 2016 before its merger with Pickering, focusing on equity research in oilfield services and energy transition industries. Before Heikkinen, Kevin was a Senior Analyst at Millennium on a $1B+ energy portfolio for seven years. He also served as Vice President at J.P. Morgan and Senior Associate at RBC Capital Markets. Kevin holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas Christian University and is a CFA charter holder.
Nick English joined Corigliano Investment Advisers in 2024 as a Senior Research Analyst specializing in midstream, Canadian upstream, refining, and integrated upstream equities. Before this role, Nick served as a Senior Analyst at Meridiem Capital Partners, a $5B market-neutral hedge fund seeded by Millennium. Prior to Meridiem, he worked at Invesco Steelpath starting in 2021, where he managed energy infrastructure investments across funds totaling over $6B in assets under management. Earlier in his career, Nick held various analyst and portfolio management positions at Cushing Asset Management over an eight-year period, contributing to both long-only and long/short energy funds. He graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Finance and earned his M.B.A. from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas.
Jay Mondrick joined Corigliano Investment Advisers in 2024 as a Senior Research Analyst specializing in exploration and production equities. Before this role, he founded Caballine Investments in 2021, a hedge fund focused on natural resource equities in energy and mining sectors. Previously, from 2018 to 2020, he served as a Senior Research Analyst at Caymus Capital Partners, managing US and Canadian E&P portfolios and overseeing long/short investments. Mr. Mondrick's extensive post-MBA experience includes five years at Wells Fargo, where he held roles in Investment Banking & Capital Markets, E&P Equity Research, and Wells Fargo Energy Capital, focusing on private equity investments in traditional energy sectors. He earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Vermont and an M.B.A. from Yale University, and he is a CFA charter holder.
